We at Sarah England believe in social responsibility and so pledge 10% of our profits to better our community and the world. As Sarah England's World grows so will our ability to give back for what we have greatfully been given.
We plan to financially support two projects per year: one for literacy or a similar project here in the United States and one project abroad that we anticipate will contribute in some manner to self sufficiency for women.
We welcome your application or suggestions and will announce on this page our two projects for the coming year. You can also follow the progress of the chosen projects here.

Both Sarah England's author and illustrator have a history of community and international involvement.
The Author, Treva Kampe
I believe that each and everyone of us in some small part can reach out and help some person make their life a little better. The organizations AWAKE and SEWA in India have been instrumental in helping micro-entrepreneurs and village women learn how to make better handicrafts and market them with more skill and awareness in a regional area. I have had the pleasure of working with both organizations and can share with you the joy of what they have achieved by earning a little more for their homes...perhaps it is a concrete floor for their house, or bringing in electricity, or having the money to send their children to school. The other facet is watching a micro-entrepreneur build her small business and being able to employ other women in her growing business...one woman helping another to make life a little easier, a little better.
The Illustrator, Julie Rodriguez Jones
Julie's volunteerism dates back to her Girl Scouting days when she volunteered to help special needs children on Saturdays with a variety of projects, to volunteering for the Red Cross as a swimming instructor and life guard. Later as an adult Julie volunteered for Bay Area Adoption Services, an international adoption agency, by serving on their board of directors, giving classes and especially by participating in the U.S. contribution to the Hague Adoption Convention. Currently Julie serves on their advisory board of directors. Julie has also traveled twice to Mexico to participate in "Corazon!" As an artist, Julie's non-profit efforts continue by providing art for the National Graves Disease Foundation, Healing Journeys, Galaxy Explorers and other 501(C)(3)s primarily involved in the areas of health and children's concerns.
